Bindi is a 3-year-old Aussie mix who weighs 33 pounds. She’s full of energy, loves people, and confidently greets new friends with her tail wagging.
Her journey began near the border of Mexico in an overcrowded shelter where there were far more dogs than homes. Now she’s ready for her second chance—a loving family to call her own.
Bindi is located in Hondo, Texas. Her adoption fee is $325 and a meet and greet can be arranged in Hondo, TX with an approved application.
Bindi tested negative for Heartworm. She did test positive for Chagas’ disease with a low titre of 20 and will be retested on 12/6/2025 due to false positives with low titres. If she tests positive again, she will continue treatment. If she tests negative she will stop treatment. Chagas is treatable and completely curable. Please watch these videos.

• Regular Deworming
• Spay/neuter surgery

Step 3: Pay adoption fee
Adult dogs & puppies 6mo+ $325
Puppies younger than 6 months $375
Please do not pay the adoption fee until your application has been approved, and your adoption counselor has given you the "ok" to adopt one of our dogs.

We are dedicated to helping them find loving families.
