My name is Nugget- Miss Shorty!!

Nugget is a friendly girl who is looking for a home! She's currently with our rescue partners in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon with a foster or adopter.  We do offer foster to adopt for approved adopters.

At just 1 year old and 40 pounds Nugget is the perfect blend of cute, cuddly and a little bit silly. She might seem shy for about 5 seconds, but once she realizes you're friendly, she soaks up attention like sunshine and will happily curl up in your lap.

Nugget walks nicely on leash and isn't easily distracted, unless of course there is the sound of a treat bag. She's kennel trained, housebroken, and loves her crate when its time to unwind. While she enjoys her outdoor time, this smart gill prefers the comfort of AC when its warm out.

She's great with dogs and kids, and even shows manners around rabbits and chickens. This little girl is sweet, loyal and full of love.

Nugget is fixed, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. She tested positive for heartworm and is currently going though treatment.  She is available to come to NJ in January once treatment is completed.  Her adoption fee is $450.
