Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Poppy!
🐾 Breed: Domestic Shorthair
🐾 Colour: Tuxedo with Smoke Coat
🐾 Age: 1 yr (born approx. July 1, 2024)
🐾 Gender: Female
Don’t let her petite frame fool you-Poppy is bursting with confidence, curiosity, and charm! This striking tuxedo girl with a unique smoke coat is as brave as she is beautiful.
Poppy was found outside, dangerously underweight and alone. While her past is a mystery, she’s shown nothing but strength and resilience. Since coming into care, she’s thriving as an indoor cat and has embraced her second chance at life with enthusiasm.
Poppy is a bold little explorer who isn’t afraid of new things. She loves to perch up high, chase toys, and drink water straight from the tap, one of her signature quirks! To help her feel right at home, her adoption will include her very own cat fountain, courtesy of the rescue.
Poppy would do well in a home that respects her independent streak and provides plenty of enrichment and affection. She's in foster with other cats and a dog and we think she would do well with either and older kids.
Poppy is:
✅ Litter-trained
✅ Indoor-only
✅ Spayed
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Microchipped
✅ In foster with other cats & a big dog

More about this rescue
We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.
We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.
We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a virtual home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.
We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
