My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Cutie Pie  is a 2-year-old, 20-pound German Shepherd/Poodle mix ready to begin a new chapter in life. She spent her early years in a hoarded home, surrounded by clutter and the constant chaos that too many dogs (and cats) cause. Thanks to our partners at Washington Health Outreach, Cutie Pie was able to leave that environment behind and step into a safe, healthy life.

She’s gentle, affectionate, and has a quiet resilience that shows in every wag of her tail. Cutie Pie is shy at first, but opens up and is willing to trust easily. With the right family, Cutie Pie will thrive, offering her loyalty, love, and companionship to those who open their hearts to her. She’s ready to leave the past behind and embrace a home filled with warmth, happiness and a family all her own.

Foster Update: Cutie Pie is settling in well to her new foster home. She's cautious of new people and can be skittish with loud noises, but is learning that the world isn't so scary. She's a quick learner who has already mastered wait, come, sit, and no. Cutie goes to the door to ask to be let out, and will thrive with a family willing to keep helping her grow her confidence.
