Hello! My name is Deftones, and I’m a clever, sweet little guy with a curious streak a mile wide. I love pouncing on toys, investigating new spaces, and following my humans around to see what they’re up to. While I can be energetic and playful, I also enjoy quiet moments curled up beside someone who loves to give gentle pets and snuggles. I’d thrive in a home that gives me plenty of playtime, mental stimulation, and affectionate attention, basically, a family who can keep up with my curiosity and still give me cozy lap time at the end of the day. Adopt me today!

More about this shelter
The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
