Nala is one of the oldest of her litter, and you can tell—she’s a second mama with firstborn energy, always keeping her siblings (and humans!) squeaky clean with endless kisses and gentle grooming sessions.

Better Together: Nala's mother was left behind when her owner moved out. The foster started feeding the mother and her first set of kittens when they were outside (the kittens went to a pet store for adoption). Thankfully the mother came to live with the foster and five days later, Mia (the mother) had eight kittens! Nala is one of the more confident kittens of the lot. She would love to go home with one of her siblings from The Disney Eight—her handsome brother Scar or playful brother Chip. Together, they’d make the purrfect pair!
Nala is a healthy kitten, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, tested Neg for Felv/FIV, am litterbox trained and has all of her kitten vaccinations.

The first step is to complete an Application. Start at the Adoption page on our website - https://www.straycatblues.org/adoption-process
2.
Approve Application
You will be assigned an Adoption Representative who will review your application and check your vet and personal references.
3.
Meet the Pet
Once approved, we will set up a meet and greet for you with the cat(s) you are interested in.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Your Adoption Representative will go over paperwork with you. You will sign and then pay the Adoption Fee.
5.
Take the Pet Home
This is the best part! Take your new cat home!
Additional adoption info
During review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease.
We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption.
Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative.
All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted.
You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings). If you see a cat there that you like, you can complete an adoption application there in person.

• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age
• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.
