Corn Pudding and Tofurky were in the "thanksgiving boys" group where several male guinea pigs were transferred from another town's animal control after being part of an animal control seizure. Corn Pudding and Tofurky are adorable, Corn Pudding is more outgoing and Tofurky is more shy. We are a specialty rescue for small exotic pets, such as reptiles and small mammals. We were formed by two women who met working at a nature center. In their interactions with the public they noticed a need in the area for a rescue that specialized in exotic pets, as well as a value in public education. Lost Woods Animal Sanctuary was formed with the mission to reduce mistreatment and abandonment of animals through rescue and rehoming, as well as educational outreach.
