My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

APPLICATIONS CLOSED

Meet Siren – the Sweetest Little “Special” Spaniel You’ll Ever Meet!

Hello! My name is Siren—though my foster mom jokes that it might be “Siren NO!” or “Siren, stop that!” 😜
You can just call me Siren.

I’m a 4-month-old spaniel puppy (cocker? springer? King Charles? Who knows!) but I do know I’m 100% adorable. I’ve got long silky ears, beautiful curls, and the kind of colouring that makes people stop and smile.

But let’s talk about what makes me extra special.
I have a little head tilt to the right. That’s it. It doesn’t affect my balance, my mobility, or my joy for life. Most people don’t even notice! I run, play, eat, chew, zoom, and potty with zero issues. The folks at HBR ran every test possible—parvo, ear infection checks, parasites, bloodwork—and everything came back perfectly healthy. The tilt is likely from early trauma, but it’s already improved since coming into care.

I’m thriving, growing, learning, and loving life. My foster mom says I’m “one of the easy ones.” ❤️

She’s happy to talk to any family who wants more info about my little quirk!

A Bit About My Foster Life

I currently live with:

Two human kids

Two male Boxer dogs

Frequent visits from toddler humans, elderly dogs, and even a dog walker!

I love everyone. Truly.
The kids are awesome, the Boxers are my best friends (even the grumpy one), and I’m gentle and respectful with little ones and seniors alike. My foster mom thinks I’d do great with cats too.

I am:

Crate trained (110%!) – I sleep 11pm–7am quietly, and I settle during work hours with no issues.

House trained – a solid 9/10, with the occasional normal puppy moment.

Zero prey drive – birds, bunnies, cats? Meh.

Quiet, clean, and wonderfully mannered for a puppy.

Bomb-proof with noise and chaos thanks to kids + Boxers.

Not destructive and no separation anxiety.

I love toys, snow, exploring the yard, leaning against humans, and cuddling. I adore being carried—even if I dip a little to the right. 😉
And yes, I love food. I’m a spaniel. It’s tradition.

What I’m Looking For

Honestly? I can fit into almost any loving home.

Environment:

Suburban, rural, farm, or city — I’m good with all.

Apartment, condo, semis, or detached — no problem.

Family type:

Young kids, teens, no kids — great.

Seniors — as long as they’re active enough for a puppy.

Active, mellow, or in between — I’ll match your pace.

With pets or without — I’m flexible, but if I’m the only dog, I’ll need proper socialization.

I get along with any species!

Needs:

Normal puppy exercise, enrichment, and continued basic training.

I can eventually stay home for a workday, but right now I’m used to 3-hour stretches.

No dog parks please — they’re risky, and I’m small and gentle.

Training & Skills

I know:

“Siren, NO!”

“Siren, come.”

“Off.”

And I’m eager to learn more!

No leash aggression, no guarding, no reactivity — I’m a truly kind-hearted pup.

Health & Care

I’m currently eating Performatrin Puppy (lamb) with no issues.

No known allergies.

Getting neutered Dec 16 and will be ready to start planning my future right after!

In Short…

I am a joyful, gentle, sweet, slightly-tilty spaniel puppy who loves life, loves people, loves dogs, and loves to learn. I’m healthy, happy, and ready for a family who will adore me as much as I’ll adore them.

I can’t wait to meet you. ❤️

More about this rescue

We rescue mainly Bulldogs and other flat faced dogs!!!! We love the breeds and know they sometimes need extra care and love. Before you consider any of these breeds you should get familiar with the terms; cherry eye, entropian, dry eye, heat stroke, bloat, cruciate and know that sometimes these breeds can develop or have these issues. Also remember they drool, snore, pass gas and breath heavy this is not for everyone, but for us it is normal!
