Sarabi is one of eight stunning Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier puppies who traveled from Mississippi and is now stealing hearts in New England.
Sarabi is the perfect blend of sweet and smart. She has classic puppy energy: curious, playful, occasionally mouthy, and eager to learn. She already knows “sit” and “leave it,” and she loves a challenge — she’s mastered three treat puzzles so far!
Continued training and socialization will help her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult while strengthening the bond with her future family.
Since arriving in New England on 11/22, Sarabi has been thriving in her foster home. She adores cuddling with her humans and enthusiastically plays with her older foster dog brother (even when he needs a little convincing). She is also currently living with a cat and has formed a calm, respectful relationship — complete with friendly nose bumps before going their separate ways.
Sarabi would do best in a home ready to embrace puppy life, continue her training, and provide plenty of love, structure, and enrichment. She would be a wonderful addition to a family committed to helping her reach her full potential. Watch Sarabi in action: https://youtube.com/shorts/A_WNNSGm0_4?feature=shared

More about this rescue
PAWS is comprised of a small group of volunteers from New England and Tennessee trying to reduce the euthanization rate (previously 90%) at the Tipton County Animal Control shelter in Brighton, Tennessee. This shelter is forced to euthanize thousands of animals each year due to irresponsible pet owners that do not spay/ neuter their dogs in the area. Millions of dogs in America are euthanized each year due to lack of space and lack of funding to try and find them better homes.
Our mission is to save as many animals as possible, removing them from the shelter, having their veterinary needs met prior to traveling and then finding them loving homes throughout New England. We do this only with the assistance of many people volunteering their time by going to the shelter, transporting the dogs to the vet, fostering dogs who need special care, and arranging for their new and happy homes in this area. Most importantly, we cannot do any of this without those people willing to open their homes and hearts to these lovely creatures.
