Nina Sardina entered Coachella Valley Animal Shelter as a stray, and sadly, she wasn't claimed. We welcomed her as a Frosted Face on November 24th. Nina is estimated to be 15 years old and weighs 7 lbs.
No sooner had this adorable little lady arrived at FFF than she was scooped up for a two-week Frosted Fling. Here's the scoop from her Fling Mom:
"What an absolute sweetheart this girl is! Despite having limited hearing and vision, Nina approaches the world with the gentlest confidence and the most trusting nature. She immediately found the comfiest blanket in our home and has been burrowing happily ever since. She wags her tail when you gently let her know you’re there even sometimes rolls over for belly rubs!
Nina gets around amazingly well once she learns her environment. She can go up stairs or onto furniture, without any issue, and just needs a little help getting down. Nina walks beautifully on leash and even enjoyed some sightseeing from a backpack on longer outings. She’s friendly with people and pets, house-trained, and an all-around gentle soul.
For a girl listed as a senior, Nina has so much pep! Based on her energy and mobility, she seems more like 8-10 years old instead of 15.
Nina is an absolute gem, and we’ve loved having her in our home. She’s so deserving of love, and we hope she has a forever home soon."
