Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bear — The One-Eared-Up, One-Eared-Down Heartthrob!
If you’ve been searching for a dog who is equal parts majestic GSD and pure cartoon character… meet Bear, a 1-year-old male German Shepherd mix whose ears simply cannot agree on anything.
One stands straight up like he’s always on high alert.
The other flops over like, “Nah, bro, we’re chill.”
Together? Adorable. Legendary. Unforgettable.
- Bear’s Best Features:
Those iconic ears — it’s like he comes with his own built-in comedy duo
Good with other dogs — he’s the friendly guy who gets invited to every dog party
Loves people — he will absolutely melt into you for pets
Professional goofball — majestic one second, tripping over a stick the next
- Bear Is Looking For:
A home that appreciates cuteness, silliness, and big hearted pups with even bigger personalities. He promises unlimited entertainment, snuggles, and daily laughs courtesy of his mismatched ears.
If you want a dog who is friendly, fun, and absolutely impossible not to adore…
Bear says: “I’m all ears! (Well… sorta!)”
If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.
The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
