Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pint-Sized Perfection: Meet Cocoa!
Age: 2 years
Weight: A travel-friendly 32 lbs
Special Skills: Being everyone’s favorite
If you’ve been dreaming of a dog who’s the perfect size, perfect vibe, and perfect snuggle buddy… ding ding ding! Allow us to introduce Cocoa, the pint-sized hunk who can fit in your lap, your heart, and probably your carry-on luggage (though he insists he’s “not baggage, he’s cargo with personality”).
Cocoa is:
-Extremely friendly — He greets everyone like they’re long-lost friends returning from a hero’s journey.
-Great with other dogs — Big dogs, little dogs, wiggly dogs, awkward dogs… he’s cool with all of them.
-Kid-approved — If your kids love cuddles, laughter, and a dog who won’t bulldoze them over, Cocoa is your guy.
-All-around perfect — Honestly, it’s suspicious. He might be a Disney character in disguise.
He’s sweet. He’s adorable. He’s easygoing.
He’s the canine equivalent of “fun-size” candy — all the goodness, just in a more convenient package.
Come meet Cocoa and let him show you why good things really do come in small, wiggly, four-legged packages!
If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.
The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
