My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Noodle is a 1-year-old, 13-pound bundle of fun who was listed as a long-haired Chihuahua mix, but we’re pretty sure there’s some Dachshund in the mix, too! With his long body, fluffy coat, and adorable face, this little guy is as cute as they come.

Noodle found himself at risk in an overcrowded shelter through no fault of his own, but he never let that dampen his spirit. He’s a cheerful, affectionate pup who loves making friends and spreading smiles wherever he goes.

Now that he’s safe, Noodle is ready to start his next chapter here in the PNW.

Foster Update: Noodle is a very sweet 1-year-old, 13.5 pound neutered long hair dachshund/chihuahua mix with a cute and friendly personality. He is fitting in well with the other dogs and cats in his foster home and he loves playing with toys and balls!

Noodle is also a fantastic little walking buddy who enjoys going for walks on a leash and taking in all the sights (and smells!) around him. At home, Noodle is making very good progress with crate training and potty training and is eager to keep learning. He's curious, affectionate, likes being close to his people, and is ready to start on his basic obedience training.

If you're looking for a small, young dog with a good temperament and a playful side, Noodle could be a great match!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, recent exam with a veterinarian, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
