Hi… I’m Cherry Garcia, and I’m finally learning what it feels like to be loved.
I’m only 2 years old, but I’ve already been through more than most dogs should. When the shelter found me wandering the streets, they said I was “New Hope Only.”
I didn’t know what that meant…
but I know now — it meant rescue was my only chance to live.
And PMAR chose me.
They said I was worth saving.
Now I’m in a warm foster home in Binghamton, learning that people can be kind. I love kids, cats, and other dogs… honestly, I love anyone who makes me feel safe. I’m goofy, sweet, and I wag my whole booty when someone gives me attention.
I had surgery to fix my cherry eye and still need a recheck, but the truth is…
what I really need is a family.
Someone to call my own.
Someone who won’t give up on me again.
Someone who sees my heart — not my past.
