Isabelle is easygoing, laid-back and mellow. She loves to sit near her human companion and welcomes being embraced and caressed, snuggled and cuddled! Isabelle's petting highlight is being stroked at the base of her tail. She loves to nap in her perch by a window. Isabelle's favorite toys are soft and plush and if it comes with a feather, she is in a state of utter perfection and happiness! Isabelle is delightful and doesn't kick up a fuss. She recognizes her name and comes to you when called. Isabelle follows you on walks, is comfortable wearing a harness and is learning to take walks on a leash. Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; a home that will treasure and adore her. Isabelle expresses disapproval toward other cats with hisses when first introduced, however, after a couple days she is okay. Isabelle is a 1-year-old torbie (tortoiseshell tabby). She is slender and petite, weighing in at 6+ pounds. You will melt when Isabelle makes eye contact with her golden yellow eyes, and she has the cutest pink nose outlined in black. Isabelle's adoption fee is $80.

· To assist Jackson County Animal Shelter in securing good, reliable adoptive families for animals through social networking, transport to other states and local adoption events.
· To educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter laws, animal protection laws, and pet owner responsibility.
