My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Beignet!

Beignet came into foster care with his mom and four siblings from the local shelter at just 5–6 weeks old. While the rest of his family has found their forever homes, Beignet (along with his brother Cannoli) is still looking… and let us tell you, Beignet is READY to find his forever family!

Beignet is a handsome, mostly elegant little guy… though don’t be fooled — underneath that sophisticated exterior is a tiny mischief-maker. He LOVES to play, LOVES to sunbathe, and LOVES to claim every single throw blanket in the house as his personal kingdom. If it’s cozy, fluffy, or warm, Beignet will find it and settle in — preferably on top of you.

He’s also a professional bed supervisor. Beignet sleeps in the bed with his foster parents every night, but he has a very particular preference: the top of his foster mom’s pillow, right above her head.

Beignet is dog-savvy — he’s been raised with a 70 lb Lab and a 100 lb Great Pyrenees, and he gets along beautifully with them. However, when he helped his foster parents dog-sit a 10 lb, 5-year-old chihuahua, he decided small dogs are NOT for him. So for Beignet, it’s friendly big dogs or no dogs — tiny ones need not apply.

Beignet is also cat-friendly, having been raised with cats of all ages — from bottle babies all the way up to 11-year-old seniors. He gets along with everyone, though he seems to prefer the calmer company of adult cats rather than his rambunctious young foster siblings. Beignet would do best with another cat friend in his adoptive home, because he absolutely hates being left alone… and he WILL make sure you know it!

Beignet’s favorites include: sunbathing, lounging in cat piles, batting around cat springs… and FEATHER WANDS.Oh, the feather wands! Beignet goes completely INSANE for them, turning into a kitty acrobat you never knew existed. He’ll flip, twist, and leap like a tiny circus performer just to catch that feathery prize.

This playful, snuggly, acrobatic little fluffball is ready to bring his blanket-stealing, pillow-commanding, attention-demanding magic into your life. Could your home be the one to finally earn his heart (and his throne of blankets)?
