Meet Lola!

This beauty was rescued from the streets of Tijuana Mexico along with her sister crayola a little tortie who was adopted. Lola is waiting for her forever family to find her and currently fostered at casa de arwob where she shares her home along with multiple other foster cats of all ages and personalities. Lola is a bit of a tom boy personality, she is easy going and never seeks trouble, she is not the type to pick fights. She loves to play tag with her foster siblings and seeks human attention all the time, she is constantly walking with you from room to room and observing you work at your desk. She enoys attention and being petted BUT does NOT enjoy being hugged or picked up which is WHY we try to do it often and she accepts her faith like a champ, bear hugs are something she knows are coming and she may act like she doesn't appreciate it being embarassed like that infront of her friends but we know she LOVES them! She likes to be talked to and acknoledged. This girl is a bit pettite not a big girl for her size and has stayed at the same size since reaching her teenage era. Lola is a very healthy strong kitty who is now spayed, feliv.fiv negative and up to date on her medical. She is OK with dogs as she is also fostered around them but depending on the dogs personality she will see friendship or stay at paws lenght.

Lola could be adopted as an only cat but we know she would enjoy a friend or be a good match for a home with another easy going cat friendly cat. She will not do well with a cat who is a bully or dominant because that will cause her to be afraid as she is not a fighter but a lover.

If you are concerned about her not loving to be picked up or hugger, carried around you are welcome to do request a foster to adopt trial to see if she comes around to be enjoy them as we know many times these type of cats come around in the right environment especially one where there are less kitty friends competing for attention. Lola is spayed, healthy and felv/fiv negative READY to find her forever family before the holidays we hope!

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
