Meet Val!

Val is your typical handsome tuxedo. He comes to us from the streets of baja, specifically Ensenada. He is not fully grown but almost there as a teenager kitty. Currenty fostered at casa de arwob along with several foster siblings both dogs and cats. He is the type of cat who incorporated easily from day one when he arrived, for being a teen male cat he is very easy going around cats, not a bully and not interested in play fighting or seeing who is the boss. He has great litter box manners and would do great in a home with other resident cats or be adopted with any of the other foster cat siblings he has. Although he is exposed to dogs he is pretty neutral to them but like most cats does better with dogs who are calm/cool/collected around cats. A dog that darts and runs to him will absolutely make him run for the counter as he does not hold his ground likely from experience of surviving the streets. He was rescued as a yooung kitten around 4 months of age but only arrived ARWOB the last day of September when he did his medical and this strong healthy neutered and felv/fiv negative kitty is now ready for adoption.

He loves toys, all toys. He is easy going and well behaved. He will be around you but so far does not seek a lot of human companionship, he did when he first arrived which means he likely revereted to seeking more cat companionship than human companionship. We think in an home with no cats or humans to give him and request attention he will build a great raport with his humans. If you'd like to give him a chance to see if he becomes more of a human oriented kitty to socialize and seek more pets we encourage you to request our foster to adopt trials to see if he would be well matched for you.

To adopt this cutie please submit applications online at ARWOB.org we do not hold cat adoption events and only do meets at their foster homes for this reason we need to process adoption applications before scheduling a meet. Do know once we receive an application we will email or text you to schedule a call so we can finish processing your application and talk about the process in order to hopefully move fwd to schedule a meet. Any cat adoption application can be applied to any of our cats.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application.

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community

Visit our website www.ARWOB.org to learn more about us.
