Introducing Charlie! This loveable min pin/chi mix came to DASH with several other small dogs when his owner went into a nursing home. He is currently in our DASH Prison Program where his handler says he is super chill and loves being held and being in a lap. He likes going for walks, is crate trained and housebroken, if kept on a schedule. His trainer says "if you love dogs, this is the one you need to have". Charlie has a grade 3/6 heart murmur, but does not need any medication for it. He l oves attention from people and gets along with other dogs, however he prefers females. He'd rather play with his toys than other dogs. He cannot be in a home with cats. He is working on his basic commands as well and has mastered sit and down very quickly. He is very affectionate and sweet. He has not been kid tested, but feel older children would be fine. He is ready to find his forever and ever home.
