Welcome Marley to DASH! This special needs boy came to DASH after he was left outside with another dog, who actually froze to death before we could get them to us. He is a very small Tri-Pod, he is missing his left front leg, but he does get around ok. The rescue did order him a wheelchair to help him on those days where he seems to be in some pain, so he will need to continue learning how to use it, even if it isn't needed every day. Our vet believes he had a very rough life before coming into our care and will need to be on long term pain medication, but it is relatively inexpensive so don't let that deter you from bringing this sweet boy into your home. He is great with other dogs with calmer energy. High energy is not his thing. He really just wants to be in a lap getting all the attention he can and will use pee pads inside, as he is not really a fan of being outside for any reason and we can't blame him! He has not been kid tested, but mostly just ignores the resident cats in his current foster home. He would be great for someone looking for their laid back companion to curl up with and read a good book or watch a movie!
