Say hello to Spectra!
This cute girl came into our care July 2025 as part of a humane case. Spectra is very vocal and enjoys asking for attention, and is very happy when she gets it! She loves treats too, especially the crunchy ones with gooey fillings! Spectra likes to cuddle her sister, Henrietta, and may do best in a home with her as they have never lived away from each other.
Spectra is selective on other cats (she likes her sister but is scared of most other cats). She has previously lived with a dog. She is great with gentle children.

Spectra is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
