Wrenlee is an 11-pound Shih-Poo with the softest heart and the sweetest spirit. This precious girl clearly carries the marks of a hard past — likely spent in a breeder environment — but she’s learning every day what love and safety truly feel like.
Wrenlee is shy and skittish at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes your little shadow. She’s completely devoted to her person and wants to be touching you at all times — and just when you think she’s snuggled as close as she can get, she’ll find a way to be even closer! 💕
She eats her meals like a champ and is thriving in her foster home. She’s currently working on her potty skills and doing well with a consistent routine. She loves spending time in the big fenced yard, where she feels safe to explore at her own pace. A patient family will need to help her continue learning about walks and building confidence on a leash, which is still new for her.
Crates are not for her — after spending too much of her life likely confined, she’s earned the right to be your baby now. Wrenlee would do best as an only dog or with a family willing to patiently help her learn to share attention.
Her soft waves are just beginning to grow back after being shaved, and soon her beautiful chocolate curls will shine again — a perfect reflection of her blossoming spirit.
Wrenlee would thrive in a quieter home without small children, where she can continue to build confidence and soak up all the love she’s been waiting for.
