My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET ROXIE!
STATS: 2 years old, spayed, Brindle American Staffy Mix
AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL:I have so much infectious energy! You haven`t experienced what `happy` truly means until you`ve spent some time with me. I have so much joy and love to share. I love to get the zoomies in the yard with my friends and we play fight all the time, but it`s all in good fun! My life`s mission is to have the best time ever, and I make sure to include everyone around me on the excitement! When I`m good and tired, I am so ready to snuggle and lay low until it`s time to play again!
WHAT I LOVE: I love to play! Whether it`s a walk, running around outside, fetch, chew toys, or just laying around with a squeaky toy, I am all about having FUN! I would be an excellent hiking buddy if that`s what you`re into!
KIDS: I have not been formally kid tested yet, but my shelter family thinks I would do well with older kids that can match my rambunctious energy!
OTHER DOGS: I`m very dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I run around with my dog friends every day at the shelter in playgroup.
CATS: Unknown
HER MATCH: I would be perfect for a family that wants an energetic, sweet, and playful young pup to liven up their lives! I would do great with another dog that wants a playmate, or as an only dog with someone who can help me get the exercise I need.
SPECIAL NOTE: My ears go in opposite directions - one flops over and the other stands up perfectly straight!
