HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org
- VERY friendly and affectionate cat
- Not a fan of toys, but loves cozy cat beds
- Likes to "swim" - she will lay on her back and paw at the air - too adorable!
- Doesn't have the mobility to climb on anything, but likes to be picked up and placed on beds & couches
- Needs an easily accessible litter box
- Looking or a more mature home; young, busy children are not a good fit for her
- She will thrive in a calm, relaxed environment
- This cat has shown symptoms of uncoordinated walking, mild head tremor, and difficulty with depth perception (more info at ARL)
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
