Meet Orieanna, a beautiful 2-year-old mixed-breed girl weighing about 45 pounds. She’s spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccines, and ready for a loving forever home.

Orieanna is a sweet, affectionate companion who forms strong bonds with her person. She’s potty trained, enjoys a good routine, and loves spending time outside—whether it’s exploring the yard, lounging in the sun, or going for relaxing walks.

She gets along well with most dogs, but she prefers a home where toys aren’t left out when other dogs are around, as she can be a bit protective of them. Because she bonds so deeply, Orieanna thrives best in a one-person household where she can feel secure and be the center of attention.

Adoption fee $300

Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 919-266-8177 or email pets4adoption@bellsouth.net. All adoption fees are cash or check only, we do not accept credit cards for adoption fees.

To speed up the adoption process please visit our webiste, www.mmahrescue.org, to fill out an application and get pre-approved when you arrive to meet your new best friend! Prior to meeting an adoptable animal we do require an approved application to be on file, sorry for this inconvenience.

Cat adoption fees are $50 for kittens under 16 weeks of age and $75 for kittens/cats over 16 weeks of age. Dog adoption fees are $150 for puppies under 16 weeks of age and $175 for dogs over 16 weeks of age.

Additional adoption info

The dog adoption fee of $200 includes; spay/neuter, bordetella, dewormed, any age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test(if old enough), and is current on heartworm prevention. The cat adoption fee of $100 includes; FELV/FIV testing, spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, & dewormed.
An adoption contract is required, references are checked, and an interview is required before adoption.

We are an animal hospital dedicated to the rescue and adoption of stray and abandoned animals. Dr. Covington is the owner of the clinic and has spearheaded an enormous effort to rescue as many animals as possible.
