My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Noelle, it’s so nice to meet you.

I’m a 4.5-year-old Chihuahua mix, and if you’re looking for a calm, gentle companion, I think we might be meant for each other. I’m an easygoing girl who loves the simple things in life... a cozy blanket, a soft spot on the couch, and a person who likes quiet company as much as I do.

I’m not a high-energy pup; I prefer peaceful days, slow walks, and being close to someone who makes me feel safe. I warm up sweetly and softly, and once I trust you, I’m loyal, loving, and happy just to be by your side.

I don’t need much, just a forever home where I can relax, feel loved, and finally settle in for good. If you’re hoping for a calm, steady little friend who will bring warmth and comfort into your life, I’d love to meet you. Maybe your heart has room for a girl like me. Adopt me today!

More about this shelter

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
