Meet Bacon Bit and Maple! Their foster Mom writes:
“They are both lively ladies under one year of age. They run around the cage with that young piggy energy. Maple loves hopping on top of the chewable hay hut. There’s never a dull moment with these two!
Bacon Bit is the orange & white Abby and she’s around 7-8 months. Bacon Bit loves head scratches and being held. Telling her how pretty she is while holding her and scratching her head is even better.
Maple is a multi-color American piggy baby from Porkchop, who was an outer harbor rescue with Bacon Bit. She’s 1 of 4 babies born on September 9, 2025. Maple tolerates being held. However, she's a ball of energy that loves to discover the world and would rather do that than sit still on a lap for too long. Maple wheeks for her pea flakes. Her favorite treat is the Timothy biscuit baked with apple.
They both love their vitamin C and veggies in the morning. They’ve had romaine lettuce, carrots, cilantro, celery, dandelion, peppers (orange, red, yellow), blackberries, apples, banana.
They popcorn in excitement for fresh hay and enjoy hiding in it while grazing. They even popcorn over being together after a chase, sometimes during the chase they even stop to popcorn!”
Their adoption fee is $40. All approved adopters will need to provide proof of a guinea pig safe cage that is well-ventilated with no wire bottoms or ramps.
