Introducing Ivy!
Ivy’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was recently found wandering the busy streets of New York City, likely left behind by the people she once trusted. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan found her and brought her to safety. They tried to reunite her with a family of her own, but when no one came forward, Ivy landed herself in NYC's overcrowded city shelter system and was running out of time. We knew this beautiful girl deserved a second chance and here we are...
Despite everything, Ivy’s spirit is bright and full of love. She’s a young, friendly, social girl who makes dog friends easily and loves romping around the yard with her playmates. She’s good with older kids, walks nicely on leash, and already knows several commands like sit, stay, and paw. She’s a quick learner — especially if there are treats involved (her absolute favorite). She's a great eater and enjoys any food or treats you have to offer.
Ivy enjoys neighborhood walks, car rides, and anywhere she can explore by your side. She has a medium, balanced energy level that makes her a great match for many households: playful enough to keep you smiling, but also happy to settle in for snuggles on the couch at the end of the day.
Most of all, Ivy wants to be close to her people. She’s affectionate, social, is eager to soak up all your attention, and is ready to bond deeply with a family who will finally give her the love and stability she deserves.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love, Ivy might just be your perfect match.
