Joseph is a sweet, happy-go-lucky boy who was rescued as a stray in South Carolina, and he’s been winning hearts ever since with his good looks and charm.

He’s active, friendly, and full of love—truly a dog with a heart of gold. Joseph enjoys staying on the move during the day, but is just as happy curling up for snuggles when it’s time to relax.

He gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t seem to mind cats, making him a great fit for many types of homes. Joseph is looking for a family where he can finally settle in, feel safe, and get spoiled the way he deserves.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
