Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pixel’s journey to safety began in the most unexpected of places. She was found by a kind mail carrier in Dayton, TX, living alone and frightened in the trees. For at least a month, this sweet girl had to survive on her own, and as a result, she is understandably a bit shy when meeting new people.
Despite her rough start, Pixel is quickly learning that life in a home can be full of love and fun. In her foster home, she’s made a lot of progress and has started to come out of her shell. She enjoys bounding around the yard with the foster’s resident Great Pyrenees dog, who helps show her the ropes of how to be a happy, well-adjusted pup. While she’s still a bit reserved, once she feels comfortable and safe, her true playful side shines through. She can’t wait to get outside and join in the fun with her canine companion! Pixel will thrive in a home where she can continue to build confidence and learn to trust. She would do well in a home with another friendly dog to show her the way, though she will need time to adjust to new people and situations. If you’re looking for a sweet, shy girl who just needs some time and love to blossom, Pixel might be the perfect match for you.
