Meet Gidget – A Sweet, Calm 15-Year-Old Mini Shih Tzu

Gidget is a gentle, well-mannered miniature Shih Tzu looking for a loving home for her golden years. She’s in excellent health for her age, fully vaccinated, and has been cherished and well cared for her whole life.

Gidget is wonderfully easygoing:

    •    Great with other pets – she gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats.

    •    Usually quiet: she only barks when hungry. 

    •    House-trained – she reliably goes outside, and she also knows to use pee pads if you’re away for longer stretches.

    •    Low-maintenance lifestyle – she enjoys short, leisurely walks, but she’s happiest curled up and snoozing for most of the day.

    •    Temperament – extremely cuddly and loving. Can be timid around young children, so she’s best suited for a calmer home.

    •    LOVES car rides and just being with her person. 

    •    Spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

    •    Grooming – not her favorite activity, but she tolerates baths, brushing, and trims without any trouble.

Gidget is the perfect companion for someone who wants a quiet, cuddly, loving dog who’s easy to have around and brings a warm, peaceful energy to the home. She will be timid initially but extremely loving and sweet once she gets settled in. 

She and her sister, Jackie, are looking for a new home because circustances in their current living situation have changed. Their dad is trying to find a home for both of them with a person/people that will unconditionally love them just as they deserve!
