My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kismet is a sweet little bean has had a rough start to life and she's searching for her forever home to turn it all around!

Kismet is only six months old so she's just a baby. She's still learning the ways of the world and still trying to find her place. To make matters worse, she came to us with a fractured front leg that had been left untreated for some time. Luckily, after consulting a couple of vets, there was no need for surgery or amputation and Kismet has been the most patient, bravest little soldier while it heals.

Kismet weighs about 38lbs right now but is a growing girl and still has plenty of time and room to grow. She's an absolutely stunning girl and is literally the color of champagne and just as bubbly once she gets to know you. A shy princess at first, it doesn't take her long to fall in love with you and it won't take you long to fall in love with her either. It's impossible to resist how bouncy and silly this pretty puppy girl is.

Considering the fact that she's still very much a puppy, she still needs some help working on her leash manners. Right now she's a little zigzaggy but she's super smart and picks up on things very quickly. She's eager to please and eager for attention so she's been an absolute delight to work with. We don't think that she was ever socialized with other dogs because she doesn't really seem to know what to do with them but she might do well with the right dog that has patience for puppy antics and the fact that she's a little bit socially awkward. She's scared of cats and almost jumped out of her own skin when one tried to slap her through the bars of their kennel. Older kids (12+) preferred because we don't know if she's ever been around kids and she's a big baby with no manners.

All in all, Kismet is the best girl that is going to be an absolute joy to watch grow and mature. Since she is a "restricted breed", you must own your own home or live in a home owned by a family member to adopt her.
