This handsome Shepherd-Cattle Dog mix (DNA in photos!) has spent over a year at the shelter, but outside those walls, he’s pure gold. Stax is house-trained, calm, and melts into a snuggly, affectionate companion once he’s in a home. Volunteers call him “an utter delight” and “one of the easiest dogs here.”
He loves stuffies, snacks, and squirrel watching. Stax walks well in quiet spaces (can be vocal if passing dogs). He's an A+ cuddle buddy who loves quiet, cozy homes.
Stax is also eligible for VIP Adoption, which gives prospective adopters a 30-day trial period to welcome him into their home and make sure it’s a great long-term match. It’s the perfect way to get to know this big-hearted boy and see just how easy he is to love.
