Meet Smokey, a 2.5 year old, 67 pound, wonderful Hound mix. He is a true gentle giant! He has been waiting for his forever family since June 2024. He was rescued from Animal Control and is ready to bring love, energy, and adventure to a home.
With his sleek black-and-white coat and towering, athletic frame, Smokey is impossible to miss. But his beauty is matched by his amazing personality: friendly, affectionate, and playful. He loves people and is fantastic with kids, always ready to give love and gentle companionship.
Smokey absolutely loves playing with other dogs —he’s social, energetic, and always up for a fun romp. Cats aren’t really his thing, so a cat-free home is best.
This tall, active boy would thrive in a home with lots of activity—running, walking, swimming, hiking, or even camping —because after spending far too long in a kennel, he’s eager to explore the world and enjoy every adventure with his family.
