Hi! My name is Zucchini. I’m a mellow little guy with the sweetest personality. I will likely only be about 20-30lbs when full grown. I get tired pretty quickly on walks, and after a short stroll I love to plop right onto the grass or the floor and relax. I’m very easygoing and can entertain myself without needing much attention.
I like being on your lap, especially when I’m sleepy, but I won’t fully melt into you unless I’m tired. I’m good around other dogs and barking doesn’t bother me at all. I haven’t been around kids or cats yet, but because of how calm and gentle I am, my foster family thinks I’ll likely be good with children.
I’m mostly house trained and I’m also crate trained. I don’t love spending long periods of time in a playpen, and I do much better roaming around freely. I’m extremely sweet and affectionate and I love giving gentle little licks under your chin or on your shirt when you hold me. People literally slow down their cars just to admire how cute I am.
My leash manners are good and I enjoy short walks, but I definitely prefer to take it easy afterward. I can’t wait to meet my forever person. I’m pretty special, and once you meet me, you’ll see why. I had a little misunderstanding with some mites. They showed up uninvited, didn’t pay rent, and tried to redecorate by creating a few bald spots. Rude, right?
But don’t worry, those mites have been evicted, my bald spots are already fuzzing over with new hair, and I’m feeling fabulous again. Honestly, I’m rocking the “puppy peach fuzz” look like it’s a new trend.
