Hi there! I'm princess Merida! I am a 7 month old ball of energy and happiness! I am super eager to play, learn, and snuggle with my people!
My foster mom calls me a shadow, and I really enjoy the company of other dogs and humans as often as possible! I am already spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on my shots- I also do well with both girl and boy dogs! I would do great in a home with another dog to play with! I am a princess as you know, so I do enjoy being the leader of the group and would do well with other dogs who are more submissive. I would also do best in a home without cats- my nose leads me to their favorite hiding places and I want to play and chase them (they don't seem to appreciate my expertise smelling skills!)
I absolutely love the children in my foster home, but I would do best in a home with children who are 8 and up because of my bouncy personality and strong body! My foster mom says I am the happiest girl, and am doing well on a leash. I do get very excited when I see other dogs walking I want to play with, so to make sure someone strong is holding onto my leash! I am also working on sleeping in my crate, and learning about these things called manners- however, I come when called, and stop when they say no! I am also great at playing fetch!! I go potty outside, and go to the door or pace when I need to go! My foster mom says I could put on a little weight and I love meal time, and prefer to eat my food alone, away from other dogs!
I look forward to meeting you and giving you snuggles!!!!
