My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Georgia was brought in by their previous owner on October 19, 2025.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Georgia! She arrived with her sidekick Kimi (#853750) - together, they're the undercover cuddle squad who would love to be adopted as a pair! Georgia is the quiet strategist - shy and cautious, she prefers to watch from the sidelines before making her move. Give her time, patience, and a slow, steady approach, and she'll transform into a total sweetheart who's all about gentle pets and cozy snuggles. Think of her as the slow-burning surprise you didn't know you needed. Her partner in chill, Kimi, is a bit more confident - the kind of cat who takes her time to size you up but quickly becomes a dedicated cuddle buddy once comfortable. Together, they're masters of the relaxed life: expert loungers, window-watchers, and low-key heart stealers. They're looking for a calm home with soft blankets, warm laps, and plenty of sunny spots to nap in. Don't forget to bring two secure carriers when you come to meet these queens - they prefer smooth, drama-free entrances and exits.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
