My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pet Location:
Wayside Waifs Campus - Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me!

My Friends at Wayside say:
- During my time at Wayside, I have enjoyed being around other dogs.
- I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter!
- I will make a good companion in a variety of homes.

Hi, I`m Griffin,

I was adopted as a puppy but recently came back as my owner could no longer care for me. I`m just shy of two years old and weigh in at 55 pounds. I am really struggling to be back in the shelter.

I have lived with men, women, and kids age 0-3. I did well with all, but was too energetic for the toddler. My owners described me as friendly, high energy, excited, and loving. I have never lived with other animals. I don`t seem to know any commands. Can you teach me?

My favorite things are snuggling, exploring, and free treats. I am a social and fun guy with other dogs! I was a bit unsure of my environment when I first came in and spent my time coexisting. After a few minutes I would warm up to offer some light bounces with the other dogs. I tend to do better with dogs outside. As my stress increases, I need a place to get my energy out. I would do best with other polite dogs that can tolerate my controlling behavior.

I would have a great running or hiking buddy. Are you looking for company as you run? I would love to join you. Will you stop by and say hi?

Love, Griffin
