My Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I am a graduate of Waifs with Wisdom. In this program, I learned basic commands and leash walking skills. - I was house-trained and crate-trained in my foster home. - I successfully lived around cats and farm animals in my foster home. - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. My home needs are: - I need a home with kids 6 years old and older. - No apartments or shared living spaces for me, please. - A fenced yard is a must for me! I need a secure area to run around and release my energy. - I must go to a home that already has another confident and playful dog to show me the ropes. - I feel more comfortable around new people when I have a doggie friend to build my confidence. Wayside requires you to bring your dog with you when you come to meet me.
Special Request from Star: For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.

I might be just a little cautious and shy until I get to know you, but once you’re the person who I trust and feel safe with, I will love you deeply with everything I’ve got.
