My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Petey! 🐾 Petey is a bright, bubbly little guy with a heart as big as his personality. He’s the first to wag his tail, the first to say hello, and the first to turn everyday moments into reasons to smile. Petey loves to play, explore, and bounce around with all the enthusiasm only a puppy can bring.

He’s also a quick learner who pays close attention to his humans, making him a great candidate for continued training. After playtime, Petey is all about cuddles—he’ll happily curl up beside you and soak up every bit of affection.

Petey would thrive in a home that enjoys both fun and snuggles, and he’s ready to give his whole heart to the family lucky enough to call him theirs. 💙🐾

Petey will come with age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250.

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
