Apollo is a rambunctious, playful boy when he’s around other kitties, but with people he’s calm, gentle, and a little shy. He sometimes forgets how much he actually enjoys attention—but if he’s approached slowly, he absolutely melts for chin scratches.
Apollo would do best with adopters who can offer patience and a quiet approach while he continues to build confidence. Luckily, his sister Calliope is a social butterfly who loves attention, and she helps him feel braver. These two have become the best of buddies since being rescued with their parents and siblings from the shoulder of a road.
Apollo and Calliope would thrive in a home with plenty of space to play and humans who enjoy interacting with playful, sweet-natured kittens.

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)
All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and given age-appropriate vaccines.
We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match every kitty with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to set up meet-and-greets.
Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs
Kittens are highly social and develop best with another feline friend. A companion supports healthy play, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have a young, playful cat at home.
Believe it or not, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.
