My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Sabrina was brought in by their previous owner on 9/12/2025.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Sabrina is a sweet and friendly Husky looking for a loving home she can call her own. She has shown positive social behavior with other dogs both in her previous home and during interactions while in care. Sabrina enjoys being around other dogs and may do well having dog friends outside of the home. However, due to her history of resource guarding from other dogs, Sabrina is required to go to a home with no other dogs. This will help ensure she feels safe and comfortable with her favorite things-like food, toys, and attention-all to herself. With her warm personality and playful nature, Sabrina will make a wonderful companion for someone ready to give her the love and stability she deserves.

At SDHS:
Sabrina has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Sabrina is now ready for her new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
