My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome to your best life Mr.We're going to stay positive here and lean into all the GOOD that Mr. Beau has experienced in the last few days. He's being pampered and loved and doted on like EVERY senior bebe deserves to be. We will only mention in passing the absolute wrath that we feel in knowing that some total garbage human decided to neglect that gentle soul, left him in pain, and then finally dumped him. So, SILVER LININGS, Beau is OURS and his best life starts NOW! Beau is, of course, a perfect house guest and loves all doggos. Also: He loves a short walk Loves to give kisses Loves a nap in his crate (okay, he loves naps in most places). And, let's just go straight to the source and tell everyone what his epic foster mama has to say: "Beau LOVES food as much as he does his people. He really is a mini hippo who will open his mouth wide for a bite and will swat at you with his paw if you stop petting him." Stately Beau will be the most wonderful holiday addition to some lucky family, smart enough to recognize the blessing of a senior dog (IYKYK). We are getting our sweet senior all the care and TLC that he needs, and we are looking for his perfect family and his amazing retirement home. Additional adoption info

Austin Bulldog Rescue is 100% foster-based, and does not have a shelter or facility where applicants can come meet dogs before applying. Meet and greets with a potential match will happen after an adoption application is approved. ABR is a matching rescue -- while our teams take dog preference into account, we ultimately match families to the dog best suited for their home and lifestyle. The more thoroughly you answer the interview questions, the better the matching experience on all sides!
