My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It doesn't get much better than Theodore!

He is a loving siamese tabby mix with a very special feature- his blue eyes have nystagmus! This means they move side to side like a clock! This condition doesn't affect his quality of life and is in fact a benign genetic trait that can occur in the siamese breed!

Theodore is loving, playful, and so unique with his eye movements. He is very sweet and gentle. A very chill cat.

We will want to find the home that can embrace his unique eye movement and provide him with the love and care he deserves!

More about this rescue

Inspired by the parable of the starfish, Big Apple Cats is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need, one life at a time. Our focus is on the quality of rescue, and truly 'making a difference to that one'. Our mission is to find compassionate and caring adopters so that every cat receives the love, care, and second chance they deserve.

We strive to educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering, while advocating for the voiceless and underserved cats in our neighborhoods. We aim to make a difference—one cat at a time—and to inspire others in our community to start saving 'starfish' of their own.
