My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pie!

If you’ve ever wished for a slice of pure puppy joy… well, here she is!
Pie is a 5-month-old Lab/Hound mix, about 25 pounds and definitely still rising — because this girl is growing into all that sweetness!

She’s got the most beautiful coat, the softest puppy ears, and a personality that’s equal parts friendly, goofy, and full of that irresistible puppy energy. She’ll happily trot by your side, bounce into your lap, or charm you with her wiggly enthusiasm for literally everything.

If you’re ready to add a generous serving of love, laughter, and puppy playtime to your life, Pie is your girl!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Go to our website at www.humanesocietyofcalvertcounty.org and fill out an application. Once we do our reviews, we will call you for a meet.

2.

Meet the Pet

We will do a background check, home check using Google Earth and ensure that the application would be a good fit for our dog.

3.

Take the Pet Home

If everything checks out and you don't have other dogs requiring a meet & greet be scheduled, you will be able to adopt the dog that day.

Additional adoption info

If a potential adopter has other animals in the household, we will schedule a meet & greet to ensure that all get along.
