Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maverick! This extraordinary dog is brimming with intelligence and thrives on spending time with his people while mastering new tricks. Although not well-trained yet, he’s at the perfect stage to join an active family with plenty of time and energy to share. Destined to be a very large dog, he’s best suited for a home rather than an apartment. Maverick will flourish with someone experienced in German Shepherds and ideally a fenced backyard. Don’t wait—submit your application today to learn more about this incredible companion. He was $1600 unfixed. He will be a higher than normal adoption fee, fully vetted. This is to help cover costs on others that need vetting. SL268240For best response to an inquiry about this animal, please visit www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org, fill out an application and return it to us. Thank you!

More about this shelter
The Forest County Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter in the great north woods located in Crandon, Wisconsin. We rescue, rehabilitate and adopt out all breeds of dogs and cats. Every animal is given a thorough examination by a veterinarian before placing them in a loving home and all animals are tested for Lyme disease, heartworm, feline leukemia and other infectious or debilitating diseases. They are vaccinated, de-wormed and spayed or neutered. All animals are lovingly cared for until being placed in their “fur-ever” family. Our website is www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org.
