Meet Nova, a friendly and affectionate pup in search of a loving new home! Nova has been doing great in a foster home, and settled into her new routine in just a few days. She is friendly with guests and if you offer her pets, she loves to weave between your legs for full body scratches. Nova is also very food motivated and is pretty content with just one long walk each day. Nova does get excited when she sees other dogs on walks, so she'll benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training to help manage her reactions. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
