Meet Loki! He is proof that big dogs have even bigger hearts. This gentle giant is sweet, affectionate, and truly a great boy who loves people and enjoys spending time with his humans.

Loki still learning how to manage all that power in his growing body. He can be reactive around other dogs, so he'll do best with an adopter who can provide guidance, structure, and confident handling to help him succeed.

With continued training and a little patience, Loki has all the potential to be an amazing companion. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, oversized best friend and have room in your heart (and on your couch), Loki might be your perfect match.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
