Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Grayson 💙🐾
Grayson is a handsome 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who was found as a stray and never reclaimed. Life has clearly been a little overwhelming for him, and he’s still learning to feel safe—but once he warms up, he becomes the sweetest, most gentle boy. Because he came in as a stray, we don’t know how Grayson does with other animals or kids, and we’re unsure if he is house or crate trained. What we do know is that with patience, kindness, and a calm environment, he will blossom into an incredibly loving companion. His heart is full of affection—he just needs someone willing to give him the time and reassurance he deserves. Grayson is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and weighs 47 pounds. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive dog who just needs a little love to shine, Grayson may be the perfect match. Come meet this beautiful boy and help him discover that the world can be a safe and happy place. 💕🐶
Grayson's Adoption Fee is $115.50 plus tax. For our Empty The Shelter Event, it will be $53Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.

Our mission is to help animals in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach. We strive to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness thus bringing an end to the cruelest practices towards animals. We aim to lower the number of homeless/unwanted animals and build a stronger animal protection movement within the community. Most importantly, we strive to find the best possible outcomes for all animals released into our care.
