My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bernard is a male Akita who is good with kids, likely okay with cats, and selective of the company with other dogs.

Bernard is a gentle, well-mannered and easy-going boy. He enjoys the company of people and working a crowd for their love and attention. This super relaxed guy just wants to hang and keep you company. He's very good about taking baths, going to the vet, and going on car rides. He does like to be familiar with his environment to feel comfortable, due to being blind in both eyes. Bernard would do well in a home with kids, but he does prefer a low-energy home. He would do well in a home with other dogs and cats, but he needs to really get to know them before he's comfortable being in the same space.
